Nothing says Christmas like carolling, cathedrals, community and cheer! Join Rising Voices (previously known as ACS2), members of ACS, and Cathedral Organist David Heah, to let the spaces of St Peter’s Cathedral ring and resound with the joy of the season.
Evening Chorus // Bowerbird Collective at Carrick Hill
Join the Bowerbird Collective in the spectacular grounds of Carrick Hill to celebrate the closing night of the Nature Festival with a sunset concert. Hear these internationally renowned musicians on violin, cello and vocals, performing a nature-inspired program intermingled with the evening bird chorus in the beautiful surrounds of Carrick Hill’s gardens.
The performance will last for approximately 50 minutes without interval. Beverages will be available for sale before and after the performance.

This program explores ‘the elemental’ in music: through the emotional turmoil of Lauridsen’s Fire Madrigals and original models by Monteverdi and Gesualdo; the calm reassurance of Ticheli’s Earth Song; and the comfort of eternal peace in Stanhope’s Agnus Dei.
