Chamber Music Adelaide is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and accessible experience for all.

We seek to work with partner venues that meet high standards of disability access, including seating, ramp/lift access, bathroom facilities and accessible parking.

On The Terrace Audio Described Tours

This year's On The Terrace on 2 November 2025 offers audio described tours through Access2Arts.

The audio described tour will guide participants through multiple performances across Adelaide's cultural precinct, including:

  • 11:00am – Meet at the 14 Pieces fountain on North Tce in front of the South Australian Museum at 11am. The meeting point will be marked by the fluoro pink Access2Arts flag and the describers will be wearing fluoro pink vests.

  • 11:15am – Vanya Quartet at the Museum's Pacific Galleries, with introduction to the space and instruments

  • 11:40am – Silk Strings performance

  • 12:00pm – Performance of Leviathan, with meet-and-greet opportunity

  • 12:50pm – San Ureshi at the Art Gallery of South Australia, with gallery audio description and instrument introductions

  • 2:20pm – Electric Cristals performance at AGSA Gallery 25

  • 3:00pm – Adelaide Cantata Band, Magpie Artsong, and Poetry in Song at the Mortlock Library

The tour includes comfort breaks and assisted navigation between venues along North Terrace.
