Guitar Fest @ the Con is an exciting showcase of classical guitar at the Elder Conservatorium. Current classical guitar students will perform alongside alumni and Open Music Academy students (directed by Caleb Lavery-Brook) in a vibrant and eclectic program. The repertoire includes works by Dietrich Buxtehude, Phillip Houghton, Dilermando Ries, Philip Glass, and Richard Charlton. The concert also features a world premiere by New Zealand composer Chris Everest, performed by Adelaide's own Opal Guitar Quartet – featuring Dylan Boller, Megan Robson, James Rawley, and Caleb Lavery-Brook, all Elder Conservatorium alumni.

Madley Rehearsal Space is located at the The Adelaide University city campus, opposite the Schulz building.

The easiest way to access Madley Studio from Elder Hall is through the Scott Theatre and Schulz building access. Alternatively, you can access Madley Studio via the Hartley Building from Kintore Avenue.
